Sunstorm Studios is a collaboration between two global artists, who met and found common inspiration in Hong Kong. A merger of East & West, an unparalleled skyline, and a place where nature’s soft forms meet gritty street-scapes, Hong Kong transformed and energized the duo.

Using a variety of locally sourced recycled materials, Sunstorm Studios creates dynamic artworks which seek to engage and inspire creativity in the viewer.

AFTERGLOW

Afterglow brings together three of the most talented mixed media artists working in Hong Kong today, KC Wong (RidiculouSneakers) and Sunstorm Studios. For this exhibition, the artists have fused recycled materials with LED lights to breathe new life into discarded objects. The collaborative team sought to create a showcase which looks and feels dramatically different in the daytime and after dark. Viewers will be treated to two different displays; each playfully inviting the viewer to stop and consider the mass production of consumer waste.
